This page lists the top three players in each of the official (= Elo-rated) tournaments held so far.
En. = no. of entrants who played at least one game - around 800 people have played in at least one tournament. You can click on the year numbers for results and reports from previous years' events. You can also view Tournament Game Records. N.B. The tournament records page has not been updated for quite a while - the plan is to do an update with all o/s new records shortly then pass the records page to Jim Risner who already looks after the non-tournament records. In addition, now that this Hall of Fame is getting very long, it is planned later this year to split it into separate pages for global, regional, national and table tournaments, and to add a new hall of fame page for unrated but now well-established tournaments, e.g. the World Doubles Championship.
Year numbers are pink where the original results page no longer exists or points to the wrong year - organisers are requested to supply the new URLs in such cases.
N.B. If you believe that the results of any of the Opens are incorrect or other links to results from previous Opens no longer work, please contact the organisers of the Opens concerned in the first instance and ask them to supply Steven with correct results/URLs. However, errors that cannot be resolved that way or are obvious typos, etc, can be reported straight to Steven.

on year-end lobby rankings, calculated on a different basis to now; # was moved up to
3rd after a
player was disqualified for failing to provide requested id (suspected of
being a duplicate entry under an assumed name) - id procedure now starts much
earlier.
